Emily de Molly medium blue and lime stamping polish

Last week after swatching Human Oddity for the Chaos and Crocodiles collaboration, I thought I'd see how it would look with some gradient stamping!

I Want To Believe collaboration collection with Chaos and Crocodiles

This is a pic heavy post, so I'll keep the text nice and short ;)
When Sarey and I decided to do a collaboration, picking the theme was pretty easy, we are both avid X-Files fans and with its re-release coming out very soon, now is a great time to release a collection inspired by it.

So lets get to the polish and then the release details at the end.

This is "Human Oddity"
Its a blue holo with silver ultra holographic glitter and blue to purple shimmer.
Shown is two coats with a topcoat ( Seche Vite ) Please note, this is the ultra thin glitter which is easy to remove and does not need topcoat to be smooth.

Next is "I'm not saying it's aliens"
Its a medium green subtle holo with green / gold / blue iridescent flakes and subtle red overlay.
Shown is two coats with topcoat.

Blue holo gradient

Instead of swatching I wanted to do some simple nail art last week, so I decided to attempt a gradient again. I have to say, I loved the way this one turned out!

I used three blue holos, one is Indigo Flow and the other two have not been released yet.
(They will be soon, so keep an eye out for them )

I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of these! In fact, I loved this so much I didn't need to stamp over it ;)

Colors By Llarowe The Silence

Today I have for you Colors By Llarowe's The Silence. As I've mentioned before I love flakies, so I couldn't go past buying some from this collection.

Theres not much to say about this polish, except that its beautiful. This was just one coat, so theres plenty of flakies in there.

Instead of wearing this over a really dark colour like I normally would, I decided to put it over Emily de Molly's Long Engagement. It looked amazing in the shade and in the sun!
I look forward to trying out the others I purchased from the same collection.

Chanel Holographic and ulta 3 Blue Marlin

Recently I was lucky enough to come across Chanel Holographic. Chanel Holographic has been my number 1 lemming for about 4 years now so I wasn't going to pass up another opportunity to get my hands on it! Even though this cost me more than I'm going to admit to anyone, it was totally worth it!

Just look at this holo and this is in the shade! I paired this with one of my go to blues, this is Blue Marlin by ulta3.

Yes, still in the shade!

And finally, out in the sun. The holo is absolutely amazing.

As you can probably tell, I'm a little scared to use this, hence just the accent finger ;)
Hopefully next time I'll gather up the courage to wear it as a full mani.

DETAILS
  • Can be purchased from - Good luck!
  • Coats to opacity - 2
  • Topcoat - No topcoat
  • Would I buy again -  Yes, if I ever find it again

China Glaze Capacity To See Beyond with nail vinyls

So I've been meaning to start a blog for a very long time now. I actually created this blog about 3 years ago but I just never really got around to using it! Well thats going to change, maybe...

I have so many pretties to try and perhaps this will be the motivation I need to make more time for me :)

So without further ado, this is one of the polishes from the China Glaze Giver collection.
I purchased this whole collection when it first came out but this is actually the first one I have tried. This is Capacity To See Beyond and its a beautiful light blue creme.

This is such a pretty colour and I could have worn it by itself but I tend to always add something. So I used some of my nail vinyls in the spiral and the triangle design with OPI, Kiss Me At Midnight.
