Emily de Molly celebrates 4 years!

On the 28th of May 2012, Emily de Molly sold its very first polish!
To think that I would still be making polish 4 years later, is not something I expected at all but I am so grateful that this is the way it turned out :)

To celebrate, I am releasing a very special trio of polishes. Whats so special about them you may ask?
Well basically, they are just colours that I adore and really wanted to release at some point in time but never could add them to the core line of colours for various reasons.

First up we having "Pending Perfection"
Pending Perfection is a light mint green creme with a very heavy red to gold duochrome shimmer throughout.
It is similar to "Copper Patina" but is lighter, brighter and has more shimmer.

Pending Perfection is my ideal shimmer polish. I started formulating this one about a year ago but I could never get it just right! And then of course I started seeing similar colours being released so I put it on the back burner. But now its time ;)
The formula is still not as great as I would like, but it is as good as its going to get without compromising that gorgeous glow, hence the name!
Don't get me wrong, the formula isn't bad, just not as good as usual :)

One of the ingredients in this polish appears to now be limited so at the moment this colour will not be a part of the core range and is limited to this release.

Next up is "Dark Citation"
Dark citation is a very dark blurple ( blue / purple ) jelly with a huge amount of colour shifting iridescent flakes that shift from orange through to green and blue. It also has a fine copper shimmer and copper coloured micro glitters.

I'm sure most of you are aware by now that the iridescent colour shifting flakes are my favourite finish, so of course one of my ideal polishes would have them included.

This particular colour was never released though because its a bit close to a polish released by one of my favourite brands. After a bit of tweaking though, I feel its different enough now to be released.

The colour shifting flakes I use have been discontinued by the manufacture, so unfortunately this is limited in numbers and will not become a part of the core range.

And lastly is "Brick by Brick"
Brick by Brick is a grey based crelly with gold to green to blue shifting shimmer.
Grey is a favourite colour of mine and I love this particular shimmer, so what better than both together?
Because of the shimmer in this one, the grey can lean a bit olive looking in some lights.

There is a possibility that this colour will be added to the core range as I have plenty of the ingredients for this one.

Femme Fatale Cosmetics, Morning Glory and Mo You

After I finished photographing Morning Glory for Femme Fatale, I decided to add my flakie topper "Fancy Sauce".
Then I figured I may as well try out my new Mo You stamping plates that I got for Christmas.

This is Origami plate 05, I stamped in black and then I used some of my neon sheer tints to colour them in.

I Want To Believe collaboration collection with Chaos and Crocodiles

This is a pic heavy post, so I'll keep the text nice and short ;)
When Sarey and I decided to do a collaboration, picking the theme was pretty easy, we are both avid X-Files fans and with its re-release coming out very soon, now is a great time to release a collection inspired by it.

So lets get to the polish and then the release details at the end.

This is "Human Oddity"
Its a blue holo with silver ultra holographic glitter and blue to purple shimmer.
Shown is two coats with a topcoat ( Seche Vite ) Please note, this is the ultra thin glitter which is easy to remove and does not need topcoat to be smooth.

( This works out to be 12pm AEDT January 3rd for my Aussie friends ) Please note that this is a preorder, once final numbers come in, I will still need to make/pour/label etc and then ship the polishes over to Sarey, from Australia, before shipping commences. Please bear this in mind before ordering.

Other details - This is a limited edition release so they will not be available after this weekend's preorder. You will have the option to purchase the full collection or individual bottles. There will be customer limits so please read the listings carefully when purchasing.
If you'd like to place a group buy, please email one of us for instructions. You can contact Sarey at ( chaos and crocodiles at gmail dot com ) or myself at the email below.

As this is only being sold from the Chaos and Crocodiles website as opposed to both websites, I will be organising a group buy for any Australians interested. I'll be organising this through the Emily de Molly Fan Group or through email for anyone who isn't on Facebook ( emilydemolly at yahoo dot com )
