Today I'm showing you some nail art I did with Arcane lacquers Myth of Progress.

I decided to use some of my Maze stencils and I love how they turned out!

I Want To Believe collaboration collection with Chaos and Crocodiles

This is a pic heavy post, so I'll keep the text nice and short ;)
When Sarey and I decided to do a collaboration, picking the theme was pretty easy, we are both avid X-Files fans and with its re-release coming out very soon, now is a great time to release a collection inspired by it.

So lets get to the polish and then the release details at the end.

This is "Human Oddity"
Its a blue holo with silver ultra holographic glitter and blue to purple shimmer.
Shown is two coats with a topcoat ( Seche Vite ) Please note, this is the ultra thin glitter which is easy to remove and does not need topcoat to be smooth.

Now, onto the details

Where to buy - Chaos and Crocodiles  The shop is currently closed now but a preview will be available before the launch.

When - Preorder begins Saturday at 8pm EST,  January 2 and runs for 24 hours only.
( This works out to be 12pm AEDT January 3rd for my Aussie friends ) Please note that this is a preorder, once final numbers come in, I will still need to make/pour/label etc and then ship the polishes over to Sarey, from Australia, before shipping commences. Please bear this in mind before ordering.

Other details - This is a limited edition release so they will not be available after this weekend's preorder. You will have the option to purchase the full collection or individual bottles. There will be customer limits so please read the listings carefully when purchasing.
If you'd like to place a group buy, please email one of us for instructions. You can contact Sarey at ( chaos and crocodiles at gmail dot com ) or myself at the email below.

As this is only being sold from the Chaos and Crocodiles website as opposed to both websites, I will be organising a group buy for any Australians interested. I'll be organising this through the Emily de Molly Fan Group or through email for anyone who isn't on Facebook ( emilydemolly at yahoo dot com )

Red foil over Pretty Serious

So, while I did wear Pretty Serious Santas Sunburn for this mani, you actually cannot see it at all. I wanted something a little bit more bling for Christmas lunch, so I decided on foils.

I don't do foils often enough, I used to have issues with the topcoat dulling them but now I have Picture Polish Revolution. This stuff is amazing for foils, it doesn't dull them and they can easily last days.

Emily de Molly Claire Bear and EDM21

After swatching Claire Bear a few weeks back ( my half of the Heroes collaboration duo with Celestial Cosmetics ) I really didn't want to remove it!

Instead I decided to stamp over it and actually wear it for a day or two ;)

For the stamping I used one of my new plates, EDM21 and stamped with a new stamping polish ( I used the colour Orange )

As you can see, this is still quite opaque over darker colours!

Claire Bear is a limited edition polish and is only available until sold out.

Emily de Molly The Devil's Advocate and comparison

On Tuesday the 5th May at 10am, I'm releasing a few new colours. One of these is The Devil's Advocate.

The Devils Advocate is a beautiful bright red subtle holo with heavy red to gold shimmer, which gives it an almost metallic look.

Emily de Molly - The Devil's Advocate - natural lighting

In the right light this just glows!

Seeming how I already have a red holo in my range, I thought I should do a comparison.

Seeing Red and The Devil's Advocate - natural lighting

Seeing Red and The Devil's Advocate - natural lighting

You can tell they are quite similar but they do have their differences. The Devil's Advocate is a bit darker, has more depth and positively glows. It is also a not as holo as Seeing Red.
I hope this has helped anyone who was on the fence about buying The Devil's Advocate because they already have Seeing Red  :)

DETAILS
  • Can be purchased from - Emily de Molly or at one of my stockists
  • Coats to opacity - 2
  • Topcoat - N/A
  • Would I buy again -  N/A
Until next time.....
